Sci-fi Theology...

One of my favorite shows is Battlestar Galactica. There are two deep "religious" themes in it. One is held by the humans and the other is held by the Scilons (the robots). The humans are polytheistic, mostly greek gods, and the Scilons are monotheistic, a God of love. The Scilons feel compelled by their "god of love" to destroy the human race. It's funny, but these robots have a deep devotion and obedience to their god, but the humans have made their gods a part of rituals and ceremonies.
Lord, help us to be genuine, devoted, followers of you... while remaining human.
